hi patrick - (i read this belatedly!) this is not a bad plan, in the bigger picture of things.
and entire sentences are almost always an inprovement!
unless, in an instance, that you're facing a special prosecutor..

I think Facebook is too structured. This allows me to define my own structure and form for what I write, and forces me to write something besides posting a link.
